| | | On April 1, 2005, CNPC purchased a 94.4% stake in three petroleum blocks-19, 21 and 22-from SOCO International PLC (UK). Located in the Tamsag Basin, Dornod Province, Mongolia, these blocks covers an area of 25,000 square kilometers. In November 2006, a commercial oil flow was obtained from preliminary prospecting well Ta19-34 at Block 19, with a daily output of 30 cubic meters. |
